Mafia 2 chapters
"Yeah we're all here," Seth said, grinning at her. She was still quite happy after being called princess and had to bite back her smile in this difficult time. "I should of listened to you," She said, pulling her back over to the rest of the men.Īdelaide held onto Callum's hand and pulled him with her. "I'm sorry princess," He replied, pulling away and brushing her hair off of her face. He wrapped his arms around her rested his chin on the top of her head. Without warning, she wrapped her arms around him and buried her head into his chest. She looked up and saw Callum, concern shining brightly in his eyes. "Addy! Addy, can you hear me?" Someone said, lifting her to her feet. Her vision blurred and she winced as a sharp pain appeared in the back of her skull. There was a ringing in her ears as Adelaide opened her eyes. She didn't have time to finish her sentence as the bombs dropped and the building went up in flames, sending them flying back. "They're still inside, listen Shelby we have to move," Adelaide said, beginning to drag her away. "Addy, you're ok," Shelby said, rushing over and hugging her. She helped the least few people out, the majority being elderly clients or people children and hurried out into the night air. He nodded and rushed past her while she went in the other direction. "I'll go tell them, you know the way out right," She nodded and squeezed his arm. Merlot was on the roof, there's some helicopters on their way here covered in bombs." "You need to get out, the fires getting really bad. "Adelaide, thank god," He said, his voice muffled by his suit. She looked up, prepared to fight and was surprised when she looked up at Xavier.
The smoke obscures her vision and made her eyes water, meaning that she ran blindly into someone. Smoke spiralled around the corridor as Adelaide sprinted down it, covering her mouth with her dress. She dodged out of the way and smacked him on the back of his head with her gun before sprinting off the roof. "Say goodbye to Callum for me, he won't see this coming," He said, leaping towards her. There were three bright lights moving over the city lights. "Lets just say that this place won't be standing for much longer," Merlot pointed behind her and she looked over her shoulder. "What is that? What are you doing?" Adelaide asked. He chuckled at her alarm and held a button out in front of him. Merlot pulled something out of his jacket and Adelaide raised her gun again. There was a small clench of anxiety in her stomach at the thought of someone else getting hurt but she showed no emotion on her face. "We wouldn't want anyone to get hurt, especially your brother or your husband." "He's not here," Adelaide folded her arms. "That's it, no more Mr nice guy," He grumbled.
"Don't touch me," She spat, slowly edging towards the exit. "Though you're next."Īdelaide fired a shot right into his arm and he grabbed it with a yell of pain. "I'm not asking for you this time sweetheart," He stood up and reached for her chin. "I'm not going with you," Adelaide said stonily, glaring down the barrel of her gun at Merlot. They also ran off and Callum nodded at Kris and Daniel as they forced their way into the room and took down as many of Merlot's men as they could. "Jonathon go and find Shelby! Seth, go and find Adelaide!" Well, their trust was misplaced because he had no idea what the fuck was going on.

They nodded at him, giving him their full trust. "Charlie, Xavier, Lucas! Go and get everyone out! Sam, Ben, Toby, you guys go and deal with the fire!" "Shit," He mumbled, darting out of sight while bullets whizzed over his head. Of course he was behind it, who else would do this. He followed the sound of his voice and found the rest of his men, crowded around a doorway with their guns drawn, firing rapidly at Merlot's men. "Callum!" Xavier yelled from further down the hall. It was Merlot, grinning up at her from the floor, blood streaming from his arm.Ĭallum rushed in and out of the rooms upstairs, ushering people out and almost throwing them down the stairs to safety. Grabbing her own gun, Adelaide spun round to see her attacker.
